Maintenance works to the Whiston Hospital A&E car drop-off zone

Essential maintenance works will take place at the main A&E drop-off Zone at Whiston Hospital from 07.00am to 6.00pm on Saturday 1st August.

Patients and visitors are advised to allow extra time for their journey to Emergency Department. Please see below a map of the area due to be closed.
 

During the works:

• The drop-off zone will be closed.
• Pedestrian access into Adult’s A&E and Children’s A&E Entrance will remain open.
• Alternative pedestrian route will be put in place from Dragon Lane.
• The A&E car park will remain open and will be a temporary patient drop-off area.
• Alternative parking will be sign posted to Staff Car park 3 and 4.
• Additional car parking staff will be available to assist.
• You may notice a little extra dust or some smells while the old surface is being removed and the new one is applied, we recommend keeping windows closed during the works.
