The Obstetrics and Gynaecology teams at Ormskirk Hospital, part of Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (MWL), have been recognised in this year's Training Evaluation Form (TEF) awards, receiving the 'Most Recommended' and 'Most Improved' awards in the small hospitals category.
The annual awards, presented by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), are based on feedback from resident doctors and trainees. Training units are assessed across a range of areas, including working environment, educational supervision, professional development, clinical governance and overall training quality.
The achievement reflects the supportive culture and commitment of colleagues across the department in helping trainees develop their skills and careers while at Ormskirk Hospital.
